How do I return an order?

What are the steps to follow?
1. 📝 Fill out the return form, indicating the reason for returning the item. This form is included in the package you received.
2. 📦 Pack the items in their original condition, unused. Good to know: You can use the same packaging in which you received your order.
3. 🔗 To generate a free return label, click here: DHL France and you will be redirected to our partner DHL's website.

4. 💻 Fill in the form with your current Mammut order number, your contact details and the reason for the return.
5. 🖨 Create your label, print it and stick it on your package.
6. 🏤 Drop it off at the nearest collection point or Servicepoint.
All returned items remain the responsibility of the customer until they reach us.
We can only refund the purchase price for unworn products in their original packaging.

*Please note:
- The return label is only valid for your current Mammut return.
- To pay with Klarna, please refer to Klarna's payment terms: return deadlines may differ.
- If the items were purchased from another store (not directly on mammut.com), please return them to the same store or contact the store directly for further return information.

What is our return policy?

We are extending our return period for the coming weeks. Items purchased between November 13th and December 24th can be returned until January 31st, 2026.

To be eligible for a refund, items must be returned unworn (or only tried on indoors), with original tags attached , undamaged , clean , and in their original condition and packaging.
Mammut reserves the right to refuse to process returns that do not meet these conditions.

We will process refunds for returned items after they have been received and processed at our warehouse.
The refund will be issued via the same payment method used for the returned order.

Do I have to pay the return shipping costs?

We only cover return shipping costs if you use our return label. For more information, please follow the instructions in the section below, "How to get your free return label."

When will I receive my refund?

The purchase price will be refunded only for items that are unworn (except for trying on) and returned in their original packaging.
Refunds are processed after we receive and inspect the returned goods.
Once we process your refund, you will receive an email confirming that it has been issued. It may take a few days for the refund to appear in your account.
If the refund amount is incorrect, please contact our customer service team via chat, phone, or email. We will resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Debit/Credit Cards: Refunds are credited to the card used to place the order. This also applies to bank accounts and credit cards. Please ensure your card is still valid when making the return.
If you have had to cancel your card or it has expired in the meantime, the amount will be automatically transferred by your card issuer to your account. Please contact your bank for further information.
PayPal: The refund will be issued to the PayPal account used for payment. If the return is made more than one month after the purchase, the refund may take longer to appear.

What is the time limit for returning an item?

Full-price items can be returned within 30 days, and discounted items within 14 days.
In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, we grant you a voluntary 30-day return policy from the date you receive the goods. This return policy allows you to cancel the contract even after the statutory withdrawal period has expired. The prerequisite for exercising the voluntary return policy is that the goods must be returned to MAMMUT in undamaged condition, i.e., in their original condition, undamaged and without signs of use, and within the specified timeframe. Can I exchange an item?

To receive the same model in a different color/size, we unfortunately cannot offer a direct exchange . Please return the item that doesn't suit you and place a separate order to receive the new item.
